This is our version of those lengthy films that extol the virtues of video marketing through endless soundbites and animated infographics. Our idea centres around getting the message across very quickly via visual metaphor and end user benefit only – key attributes we try to apply to all of our work.

Visually, we used very on-trend aesthetics to support the script, allowing for more freedom to explore abstract visual narratives.

AKZO NOBEL AVIATION PAINT

The agency’s initial idea was to photograph the aircraft and then retouch the livery onto cut-out shots and finally animate this in After Effects. We advised that Cinema4D’s mograph module would assist us in realising the  3D kaleidoscopic effect – a mandatory part of the brief. The livery designs were supplied by The Beautiful Meme – the agency appointed by Akzo Nobel.

We supplied the finished sequence along with hi res imagery which could be used on merchandise and in advertising.

HOLIDAY EXTRAS: CELEBRATING 30 YEARS

Holiday Extras came to us with a brief to develop a brand film, celebrating their 30th operating year.

We settled on the pop-up-book device as a great way to convey the message, without too much of a defined narrative.  We provided full storyboard, styleframes and proof of concept before proceeding on to the full cgi build and voiceover commission.

Two versions were produced: 2 minutes and a longer 2.5 minute version for conference and exhibition use. The shorter version was deployed online as part of the 30th birthday celebrations.

MOBILE MARKETING INTRODUCER

Following on from a series of explanatory videos we had created for the Mobile Interactive Group, we were briefed to consolidate them in to one generic video – redesigned to account for a merger with the Velti group of companies.

We took the look and feel of the new brand identity and moved forward with that style to deliver each message in a lively and seamless manner.

We were close to delivery on the project, when we were told that it was to be placed indefinitely on ice, due to a rethink on the overall communications strategy. The voice-over read though is placeholder only.
